Joe Baldasare
Joining The Dayton Foundation in 2001, Joseph (Joe) B. Baldasare, CFRE, has over 30 years of not-for-profit organization management experience. Joe also has earned the Certified Fund Raising Executive designation by Certified Fund Raising Executive International.
As Chief Development Officer, Joe is responsible for fund development and gift planning activities.
Joe is a native of Dayton and has a M.S. in rehabilitation administration from DePaul University and a B.A. in education from The Ohio State University.
Bill Bigham
Wright State University, Director of Planned Giving
Bill Bigham has more than 20 years of successful fundraising experience at both private and public universities. At Wright State University, he is responsible for helping donors make charitable gifts that involve deferred giving vehicles and non-cash assets in support of the university's educational mission. He also provides guidance to other university fundraisers on deferred and planned gifts. Bill has been a leader among his professional peers having served for several years as a commission member for a consortium of chief advancement officers at private institutions of higher education. He earned a Master of Public Administration and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the State University of New York (Brockport). In 2005, Bill was named to the Rochester (NY) Business Journal's 40 under 40.
Kim Cullman Estess
Kim is a partner with O’Diam & Estess Law Group, Inc. Kim focuses her practice on the niche areas of estate planning, estate administration, elder law, asset protection, Medicaid, special needs planning and guardianships. Kim firmly believes that providing outstanding service requires more than just excellent legal work—it also involves taking the time to establish a strong relationship with each client in order to truly understand their unique family situation and goals.
Kim has a passion for volunteering and serving the Dayton community. Kim volunteers her time with the Greater Dayton Volunteer Lawyer Project and also currently serves as the Vice President of the Board for the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning of Greater Dayton. Kim is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association (Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Section), the Dayton Bar Association (Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Committee), the Greene County Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Wealth Counsel and Elder Counsel.
Kim is a lifelong resident of Centerville, where she resides with her husband, Adam, and their two daughters, Cece and Abby.
Patricia Ioas, CPA (Patty)
Patty is an owner of Elders Advisory Services, LLC (EAS). Patty is a 1985 graduate of the University of Dayton. She is a former director of Brady Ware & Company. Patty is a current board member and treasurer of The Disability Foundation, a member of Montgomery County Levy Council, a member of Brigid’s Path finance committee, and a former board member and past president of United Rehabilitation Services and former board member of St. Leonard.
Patty loves working with the Elders Advisory Services, LLC clients. She states – “It is very rewarding to be able to positively impact our clients and provide peace of mind. Proper planning is so important to our clients’ success.”
Sandra Pierce, CPA, CFP
Sandy is a Principal at Parallel Advisors, Inc. After honing her financial skills in public accounting and commercial banking, Sandy has used the past 21 years to assist individuals, families, charities and foundations in investment management, tax planning, charitable & family gifting, and estate planning. Her clients are like family, and their happiness and welfare are what led her to this work and to joining Parallel Advisors, where clients come first. Using her talents to give back to her community, especially to teach financial skills to women, adds further meaning to her life. She is a Graduate of the College of Financial Planning, Denver, CO and received her BS in Business Administration, Major in Accountancy at Miami University. She is a CPA and affiliations include: Former Chair of the Executive Board, & current member, Ohio Society of CPA, Former delegate to the Governing Council, & current member, American Institute of CPAs, Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner (CFP®), Member, Financial Planning Association of Southwestern Ohio, Member, Dayton Children’s Hospital Foundation Board & Planned Giving Committee, Member, University of Dayton Planned Giving Committee, Member, Partnership for Philanthropic Planning of Greater Dayton.
